Video editing is something I played around with for fun back in 2015. A few years later in 2020, I took on the task of single handedly creating, developing and running a video department as part of my role at Primitives By Kathy. During my time there I furthered my education with video, receiving a certification for both beginner + advanced courses in Premiere Pro through AGI Training in 2021.
Project management was key for myself in this role being that I was a one person department. Each video request I would be in charge of planning, styling, propping, filming and further editing in Premiere Pro for a variety of Marketing needs.
Below you'll find marketing video examples produced for Primitives By Kathy. Each category targets a different audience and is intended to strengthen the connection between the licensed artists and customers. All Artist videos have since been published through Primitives By Kathy's website, "KathyTube".
ARTIST COLLECTION
A personal insight with each of the artists who work with PBK, showcasing some behind the scenes of their home, work space and some of their art in the making.
MARKETING & SALES COLLECTION
The shorts included below were executed for the sales team highlighting key selling features from new collections and product bodies. Additionally under the marketing category (not included), 2 hour live presentations were also part of my responsibility. From editing templates in Illustrator to syncing powerpoint slides to then incorporating footage and audio shot with a multi-cam setup.
